About

A small workshop with a soft spot for clever gadgets

Bubobit started on a workbench — a pile of LEDs, a 3D printer, and the idea that the little objects around your home could be a lot more charming than they usually are.

Today we make two things. The NightLight is a warm bedside glow you control from your phone, wearing a swappable 3D-printed character. The MathClock turns telling the time into a tiny puzzle on a wall of light. Both are designed, soldered, flashed and tested by hand, one at a time, here in the EU.

The name? Bubo is the genus of the great horned owls — wise, nocturnal, and very good in the dark. The bit is for the electronics. We thought it fit.

We sweat the details so you don't have to — every unit arrives finished, tested and ready to plug in and enjoy.
