The makers behind our characters

Every character that sits on top of a Bubobit NightLight started as a 3D model designed by a talented creator and shared with the world. We deliberately chose models released under licences that allow commercial prints — and we want to say a proper thank you to the artists who made them.

We adapt each model in-house (hollowing it, fitting it to the light's base) and print it ourselves, but the original design and all the character comes from these makers. Where a licence asks for attribution, this page is it — and where it doesn't, the thanks are heartfelt all the same. 💛

About these licences

The models above are shared under Creative Commons licences. CC BY allows use — including commercial use — as long as the creator is credited. CC BY-SA adds that any redistribution of the modified 3D model file must carry the same licence; selling a printed object is unaffected. We honour both.
